I only know what I have read in articles, not much more than you stated.  Would be a shame if they went under.

The shares are suspended on the alternative investment market in UK. The news on the company announcements say that the company has initiated restructuring proceedings under Polish law for it's manufacturing subsidiary there. It continues to look for new equity, state finance (USA I believe) and strategic initiatives whatever those are. I believe a partnership (takeover) by another manufacturer might be their best option now. I would be surprised if BMW or another manufacturer let the chance of buying them on the cheap go by especially now that oil prices are back on the ascent. But it wouldn't be the first innovative environmental tech company to go to the wall for lack of investor vision.

Unless the company has security, who will buy their product? What then does the future hold for our parts and product support?
